Section Color

Our section color this year is red. Whenever we have a section color day (during band camp and then later during championships week), and for basically all things band, red is our color. We chose by means of a lottery (I picked 5th choice) and I went with red because traditionally trumpets are red, and I thought it's worked well in the past for our section.

Lanyards

The lanyards aren't really section-specific, however the trumpets are included, so I figured I'd post it here. We ordered lanyards as a multi-section project. Most of the sections in the band are included. The intent of the lanyards is for use during band camp and through the season to keep your dotbooks at hand. They have already been ordered and are blue with "Immaculata Band" in white. They were already ordered for the entire section, and will arrive in 2-3 weeks. Please give one of your section leaders $4 (the cost of the lanyard). Thanks!

STATUS - The lanyards are IN! Most have you have already paid, but those of you who haven't, try to get your money ($4) in ASAP.

Section Shirts

Section shirts are something the band does every year. Each section has shirts made for wearing during section color days (especially at bandcamp) and all displays of section unity. This year we're having our shirts screen printed. On the back is all of our names and the logo from the show, and the front features the Immaculata 'I' with the words 'Trumpets 2005'. They'll be red of course, in accordance with our section color, with white printing. They have already been ordered and should be ready in 2-3 weeks. The cost will be $9 per shirt, so please get that in to a section leader soon.
We will probably try to debut the shirts at band camp, so please keep them secret 'till then.

STATUS - The shirts all came in and everyone paid for and recieved their shirts. Make sure you bring them to Band Camp for Tuesday!
